5C Round Collet is a kind of precision fixture widely used in machining field, specially designed for clamping cylindrical workpieces or tools. Its standardized interface (5C specification) makes it compatible with most lathes, grinders, indexing heads and automatic processing equipment, especially suitable for high-precision and fast clamping processing scenes.

Product Advantages

5C Round Collet is made of high-quality spring steel or alloy steel, and the tolerance of the inner hole is usually H6 (±0.01mm), which ensures the concentricity of the workpiece and the accuracy of repeated positioning. Through the matching chuck sleeve or nut (such as 5C chuck special nut), the second-speed replacement is realized, and the production efficiency is improved. The standard 5C interface is suitable for mainstream machine tools (such as Harding lathe and universal grinder), and the inner hole size covers the diameter range of 1/16 "to 1-1/16" (about 1.6 mm–27 mm). Some models have longitudinal cooling grooves to reduce the deformation caused by friction heating during processing. The surface is often hardened or plated (such as nickel plating) to prolong the service life and adapt to wet environment.
