90°Square Shank Boring Bar Type A is a rigid tool specially designed for heavy-duty boring and end face machining. It adopts a 90 vertical square shank interface, which perfectly adapts to the standard square shank tool holder (such as ISO/DIN specification) and provides superior torsion resistance and bending resistance. It is suitable for deep hole boring, end turning and step processing of lathes, vertical machining centers and other equipment, especially for processing materials such as cast iron and alloy steel with high load and high precision requirements.

The 90 square shank of 90°Square Shank Boring Bar Type A is in full contact with the tool holder, and its bending resistance is improved by 20% compared with that of 45 square shank, which is especially suitable for deep cutting and intermittent cutting scenes. Standardized dimensions (e.g. 20×20mm and 25×25mm) of the square shank ensure stable clamping and avoid displacement during machining. The tool holder is forged with SCM440 alloy steel. After vacuum quenching and cryogenic treatment, the hardness reaches HRC60-64, the impact resistance is strong, and the service life is increased by 35%. Support the installation of heavy-duty blades (such as CNMG and VNMG series), and the maximum cutting depth can reach 8mm, which meets the integration requirements of rough boring and fine boring. The cutter head can be rotated and adjusted 360 degrees, which supports inner hole boring, end face turning, chamfering and step processing, reducing the frequency of tool changing.
