ER Collet Set is a high-precision elastic clamping device, specially designed for CNC machine tools, milling machines, lathes, drilling machines, etc., which is used to clamp cutters or workpieces such as milling cutters, drill bits and taps. ER chuck system is composed of Collet, Collet Nut and collet chuck. Because of its high precision, strong clamping force and wide compatibility, it has become the standard configuration in modern precision machining.

Product Advantages

The concentricity of ER chuck can usually be less than 0.005mm, which ensures the stability and machining accuracy when the tool rotates. The elastic groove design makes the chuck shrink evenly, reducing the risk of tool eccentricity or slip. Support ER series standards (such as ER11, ER16, ER20, ER25, ER32, ER40, etc.), and the coverage diameter ranges from 1mm to 26mm (slightly different for different models). Adapt to many brands of machine tools (such as HAAS, Mazak, DMG MORI, etc.) and tool holder systems (such as BT, HSK, ISO, etc.). Made of high-quality spring steel (such as SCM435), it is wear-resistant and compressive after heat treatment and surface hardening. The clamping angle is 8, and the axial force is applied by the lock nut to form a reliable friction force to fix the tool. The collet is easy to replace, which is suitable for multi-variety and small batch processing scenes. One set of ER chuck can cover a variety of tool sizes, reducing the equipment investment cost. Suitable for high speed cutting, precision milling, drilling, tapping and other processing tasks. Compatible with carbide tools, high-speed steel tools and workpiece clamping.
