Product Description

R8 Collet Set is a precision fixture tool specially designed for milling machines (such as Bridgeport model) and processing equipment compatible with R8 spindle system. This set usually contains chucks of various sizes, which are used to quickly and stably clamp straight shank tools with different diameters (such as drills, milling cutters, reamers, etc.) to ensure machining accuracy and efficiency.

R8 Collet Set is suitable for all milling machines and machining centers with R8 spindle interface, such as the classic Bridgeport vertical milling machine. Made of high-quality spring steel or alloy steel, it has high hardness (HRC 45-50), wear resistance and rust resistance after heat treatment and surface blackening/plating treatment. The accuracy of the inner hole of the chuck reaches 0.0005 inch, which ensures the high concentricity of the cutter, reduces the radial runout and improves the surface processing quality. Suits cover common sizes (such as English: 1/8 "~ 3/4"; Metric: 3mm~19mm), which supports quick replacement and shortens downtime. Double locking design of conical surface and thread provides uniform clamping force and prevents tool from sliding, especially suitable for high-speed cutting.
